The Knights in Shining Armor, Our Mission
The Knights in Shining Armor is dedicated to providing community service opportunities to kids in the Kings School System as well as to helping and serving the Greater Cincinnati Area.
Our Story
Technology has brought so many gifts to children. There is more access, more availability and better communication than ever before. Unfortunately, there is one drawback in that kids are spending more time playing video games and watching TV than ever before. Kids are disconnected from their community and are in need of a way to reach out.
The Knights in Shining Armor was conceptualized over the family breakfast table. CEO and Founder, Elliott Waissbluth, came to the realization while filling out his National Honor Society Application that finding volunteer opportunities was not easy. Kids burdened with school and other activities need an easy and efficient way to reach out to the communities and have communities reach out to them. Elliott’s love of technology and communication (texting) inspired the creation of KSA as a way for kids to not only help the community, but to learn about business management, web-design, marketing and leadership.
