This is recommended to create peace and love in your relationships.  It’s so sweet and simple and easy to implement.  Use it on your love, your children, and those you work with.  It will allow you to begin to understand what love really is.   It’s truly magical.
Eating Routine

Routine is key.

  • Eat three meals each day around the same time each day. This is a critical success factor to ground the energy of your mind and to treat IBS.
  • Some people do better eating four meals each day allowing at least two hours between each meal.  Try it if you wish and see if it agrees with you.  Eat small amounts.
  • Eat within one hour of rising and not after 8 am.
  • Lunch is your biggest meal.
  • Foods are warm, moist, and cooked.  You thrive on casseroles, stews, and food that has been mixed together and cooked.
  • No eating two to three hours before bedtime.
  • If you do snack, you should allow two hours between snacks and meals.
  • You benefit from a short walk after your meal.
  • You benefit greatly by placing a glass of water by your bedside each evening and drinking it down first thing in the morning.
  • Favor foods in the following order:
    • Whole grains
    • Cooked Vegetables
    • Beans that cook in less than 30 minutes without soaking
    • Cooked Fruits
    • Nuts, Seeds, Honey and Oils
    • Spice your food to taste.  Salt is okay for you.
  • Drink about 3 cups of Ginger Tea each day. Simply buy fresh ginger, peel, slice, and place in a pot to boil with water for about 15 minutes. You may add other tea bags to flavor. You may also add lemon.
  • Please add 1 teaspoon of honey each day to your diet. You may put it in tea.
  • Drink a lassi each day. Lassis do contain yogurt (dairy) so you get a pass on totally eliminating dairy. Buy organic and high-quality yogurt.

Recipe for Lassi: Lassi or Digestive Aid Smoothie

Lassi is a yogurt drink that is to be used as a meal replacement.  Various yogurts, juices and spices can be used to create this delicious drink that is simply a blend of yogurt to liquid.

  •     Organic plain yogurt or kefir
  •     Water or fruit juice
  •     Ginger
  •     Organic salt
  •     Cumin
  •     Cilantro
  •     Rosehips

Blend 40% yogurt and 60% water.  Add spices as desired, ginger, salt, cumin, cilantro, and rosehips.
You may consider using fruit juices such as mango instead of water.  Play with the spices. IBS benefits from pungent spices.

  • Giving up caffeine and alcohol critical to successful management of IBS.
  • You may consume dairy in the form of yogurt and soft cheeses like feta and goat.  Do notice if it agrees with you.
  • Drink warm beverages including herbal teas. Avoid iced beverages and food.

Lifestyle

    • Arise before sunrise and by 7 am.  Use this time for yourself and spend it in silence.  Plan for one hour to yourself to enjoy movement, meditation, and reflection.
    • Drink a glass of room temperature water.  (CRITICAL SUCCESS FACTOR FOR IBS)
    • When you get out of bed and after drinking your room temperature water, evacuate the bowels.
    • Take a daily dose of Triphala and Flax Oil.
    • Brush your teeth with Neem toothpaste.  (optional, but recommended)

  • Swish your mouth with Sesame Oil and Water (optional, but recommended)
  • Scrape your tongue with a tongue scraper.  (optional, but recommended)
  • Wash your face with neem soap and then massage Sesame or Brahmi Oil on your face.  This will facilitate meditation and is good for the skin. (optional, but recommended)
  • Place a few drops of Nasya or Sesame or Brahmi Oil in each nostril
  • Meditate for 11 – 31 minutes.  This is critical to reducing the noise in the mind. I have chosen the Meditation for the Positive mind for you. Please refer to the video for instructions.
  • Practice gentle yoga with an extended Shavasana or resting period where you are warm and covered. I suggest you download for your smartphone, tablet or computer Mark Whitwell’s practice, DOWNLOAD.   This Seven minute practice is a daily must and will change your life.       Feel free to practice beyond 7 minutes.
  • Incorporate silence into your day.  Avoid TVs, radios, cell-phones, and excessive talking.
  • Go for a walk every single day in nature.  If it is chilly, be sure to cover the face and throat.
  • Experience a full body oil massage daily before or after bathing.  Use Sesame Oil, as it is most grounding and heating.
  • Meditate again at night before bed to facilitate restful sleep.
  • You may listen to Yoga Nidra as you fall asleep. I recommend “Yoga Nidra” by Dr. Richard Miller
  • Spend some time in self-study and reflection through journaling.
  • Be in bed between 10 and 11 pm.
